- ** Please leave your firearm in your vehicle (out of plain sight) during the classroom portion of instruction. If you do not own a firearm you will be provided one but will be responsible for the ammunition cost which is available through us the day of class at a discounted rate! **
Phase I of our 16 hour Illinois concealed carry course was designed to cater to the different firearm experience levels of shooters starting from the very beginner to the more advanced. This hands on phase of training breaks down components and tactical advantages of both the Revolver and Semi-Automatic platform while focusing on marksmanship fundamentals and implementation of firearm safety rules!

Safety is the essential building block of all firearm instruction and as our student you are expected to understand and demonstrate the safety rules we implement in our course without question, failure to do so may lead to your dismissal from our program. We are 100% dedicated to maintaining a friendly and safe environment for all to learn about firearms and defense for all whom attend.
The shooting qualification for this course will be held on Saturday! You should expect to be dismissed from our classroom at approximately 5:30pm to attend the range portion of this course at 1 of 2 ranges we utilize in the area:

We ask all students bring their firearms for Phase I of training and leave them secured in your vehicle our of plain view. While training in the classroom students will utilize SIRT Technology which are semi-functional Glock 17 pistols allowing us to maintain a safe classroom during training drills.
Training Day #2 - Sunday SEPT 15th 2019
Class Starts 11am / Class Ends 5:30pm (Approx)
Phase II of this course implements all of the fundamentals learned in the first portion of our course. Defensive shooting skills require a more refined, advanced approach and you will learn how to utilize the skills you have demonstrated and apply them to a potential lethal encounter. The skills and tactics taught in this portion of the course will ensure not only you stay safe while carrying your firearm but also ensures that those around you are safe as well.
The course concludes with our Federal and State of Illnois legal instruction. Immediately following dismissal you will have the option to be fingerprinted and have your application completed with our assistance. You walk out of our classroom 100% done and waiting on your permit. We encourage all of you to dedicate and continue your training long after our course and oir students are welcome back to our classroom sessions at any time 100% FREE of charge.

ISP CCL PERMIT SHOOTING QUALIFICATION
All CCL Applicants Must Qualify From (3) Distances
Passing is 70% or 21/30 Shots
5 / 7 / 10 Yards : 10 Shots per String of Fire
Students will qualify using the Illinois State Police required B27 Target and practice will not be allowed prior to the qualification. Our experts will go one on one with students on the range and ensure core marksmanship fundamentals are in place. While there are no caliber requirements set forth in Illinois we highly recommend students qualify with an appropiate personal protection caliber of your preference.
WE ARE AN ILLINOIS LICENSED LIVESCAN VENDOR!
While fingerprinting is not required by the Illinois State Police to apply for your concealed carry license it does signicantly speed the application process. Submitting your application with fingerprints and clean criminal history average about 35 days for receipt of their licenses. The cost of this service is $65.
APPLICATION ASSISTANCE: As an extra service to our students we offer assistance with your Illinois concealed carry application. For a fee of $30 we will create your online application, upload your documents and pictures and upon course completion all that's left to do is pay the state of Illinois and wait for your license!

The Illinois State Police Fee of $150 to apply for this permit is not expected upon completion of the class unless financially able to do so.
There is no expiration date on the training certificate you are issued upon successful completion of this course allowing students to apply anytime after the course is complete without restrictions
